Privacy policy

This policy explains what Litee collects, why it is needed, and how merchant and shopper information is handled.Last updated: 25 July 2026

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Litee handles information from visitors to litee.shop, merchants who create stores, and storefront shoppers who place orders or start subscriptions.

Each Litee merchant runs their own storefront and decides what they sell and how they fulfil it. For information connected to a specific order, subscription, delivery, refund, or merchant communication, the merchant is the first point of contact.

Information we collect

Merchant account information includes name, email address, authentication records, profile image if provided, and technical session details such as IP address and browser user agent.

Store information includes the store name and web address, branding, catalog, prices, stock, delivery settings, payment instructions, customer records, and merchant notification preferences.

Storefront shoppers may provide a name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order notes, dietary preferences, and other details needed for an order or subscription. Litee also keeps transaction records such as items, amounts, currency, status, payment reference, and fulfilment history.

We may collect basic technical and security information when someone uses Litee, including request, device, browser, and session information needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, publish storefronts, process guest checkout, keep order and subscription records, generate delivery work, show private customer portals, and send service notifications selected by a merchant.

We also use information to prevent misuse, investigate errors, maintain service reliability, comply with legal obligations, and improve the parts of Litee that merchants and shoppers use.

Litee does not sell personal information or use storefront shopper information for third-party advertising.

When information is shared

A storefront merchant receives the shopper and order information needed to manage that merchant's customers, payments, fulfilment, subscriptions, and support. Merchants must use that information lawfully and only for appropriate store operations.

Litee may share information with infrastructure, database, file-storage, authentication, and notification providers that help run the service. These providers receive only the access needed to perform their work.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service from harm, or as part of a business reorganisation where appropriate safeguards apply.

Retention and your choices

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Litee, preserve legitimate commerce and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Different records can have different retention periods.

Merchants can review and update much of their account, store, product, customer, and notification information from the dashboard. Storefront shoppers should contact the relevant merchant about correcting information tied to a purchase or subscription.

Privacy rights differ by location and may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Use the steps on the Help page to identify the relevant merchant or Litee account context for a request.

Security and private links

Litee uses access controls and other technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information. No online service can promise absolute security.

Order-status, customer-portal, and review links may grant access without a password. Treat them as private, share them only with the intended recipient, and report unexpected access promptly.

Children and policy changes

Litee is intended for people able to form a valid contract and is not directed to children. Merchants must follow applicable rules when handling customer information.

We may update this policy when Litee or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised date here and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how information is handled.
